A golf week in Mallorca: three routes for five rounds

Last checked: October 2026

Without a car in Son Vida, with a hire car through the south-west or along the east coast: three building blocks for a week with four to five rounds – with the licence and handicap rules for each course.

In brief

How do you plan a golf week in Mallorca?

Choose the region first, then the accommodation – not the other way round. The courses are spread across three main areas: Palma with Son Vida, the south-west around Calvià and Andratx, and the east coast between Capdepera and Cala d'Or. If you stay in one region, you can play five rounds without long drives. Plan one day without golf and book your tee times in advance through the clubs.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about a golf week

How many rounds of golf can you play in a week in Mallorca?

Four to five with one day off is realistic if you stay in one region. Son Vida in particular allows more rounds, because four courses there are connected by shuttle.

Can I do a golf week without a hire car?

Yes, if you stay at one of the two Arabella hotels in Son Vida. The free electric shuttle runs to Son Vida, Son Muntaner, Son Quint and the pitch & putt.

Which region is good for golf and the beach?

The south-west with Camp de Mar and Santa Ponça, or the east coast around Cala Millor – both combine several courses with beach resorts.

Do I have to buy a daily licence every day?

At the courses that require it, yes – it applies per person per day unless you hold a Spanish federation licence.
