Golf clubs in Mallorca: hire or bring your own?

Golf luggage on a flight can easily cost €80 to €120 for the outbound and return flights. Hire sets are available at the courses and from rental companies that deliver to your hotel or the airport. The calculator shows what makes sense for your number of rounds.

Is it worth bringing your golf clubs to Mallorca?
For one or two rounds, usually not: in 2026 a hire set at the course costs €25 to €45 per round depending on the club, while golf luggage there and back costs from €80 (Ryanair, online) to around €120 (easyJet). From three or four rounds, a weekly set from a rental company with delivery, or your own bag, works out cheaper. If you play with your own custom-fitted clubs, you will bring them anyway.

Callaway and TaylorMade sets with 10–12 clubs and a bag, including women’s and left-handed sets. 2026 prices: 2 days €55–69, 7 days €104–125, 14 days €139–165, 21 days €173–206. Delivery per zone €22.50, €33 or €46. No deposit stated, optional damage cover €2 per day. Free cancellation more than 10 days in advance, 50% after that, no refund within 2 days.

Clubs to Hire
Handover at an agreed meeting point at Palma airport, only at pre-booked times; delivery to selected hotels, villas and courses at extra cost (amount on request). Sets from brands including Titleist, Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade and PXG, availability depending on location. In general “from €45 per set per week” – the Palma price is only shown in the booking system. Your card is charged the rental price when you book; optional cover €10 per set.

Hire clubs directly from the club
Almost all courses hire out sets in the pro shop. It is best to reserve the set together with your tee time, especially in high season.

Which option suits you?

One or two rounds
Hire set at the course. No baggage surcharge, no lugging – and you can travel with hand luggage only if the rest of your holiday is spent on the beach.

Golf week with three to five rounds
Rental company with a weekly set, or your own clubs. With delivery, the weekly set costs about as much as golf luggage on easyJet – and you have the same set every day.

Custom-fitted clubs
If you play with fitted clubs, bring them. Booking online in advance is considerably cheaper than at the counter with all airlines.

Left-handers and women
Rent2Play stocks left-handed and women’s sets. The courses do not always have them in stock – ask in advance.

Questions about golf clubs and golf luggage
How much does golf luggage to Mallorca cost?
Booked online, per flight: Ryanair €40, Condor from €54.99, easyJet €60. There and back, that is €80 to €120. At the airport it is more expensive – €120 per flight with Condor.
Can I hire golf clubs at Palma airport?
We did not find a rental shop in the terminal. Rent2Play hands over sets in the arrivals hall by arrangement, Clubs to Hire at an agreed meeting point at the airport. Book both in advance.
How much does a hire set at the golf course cost?
Usually €33 to €45 for 18 holes, from €18 at the 9-hole Golf Pollença course. The prices are in the clubs’ 2026 price lists.
Do I need a deposit for hire clubs?
The rental companies do not state a fixed deposit, but hold your credit card as security against damage or non-return. Golf Santa Ponsa also requires a credit card as security.
From how many rounds is it worth bringing your own clubs?
With a hire fee of €35 per round, from about three rounds (Ryanair, €80 there and back) or four rounds (easyJet, €120). A weekly set from a rental company costs from around €127 with delivery and is worthwhile from about four rounds.
Are left-handed sets available to hire?
Yes, Rent2Play also offers TaylorMade sets for men and women in left-handed versions. At the courses you should ask in advance.
