Restaurants with sea views in Mallorca

Front row does not automatically mean a good view – the table is what counts.

All topics: Restaurants

For front-row tables, it is worth booking days in advance.

In short

Restaurants with sea views in Mallorca

Direct sea views are offered above all in Port de Sóller, Port d'Andratx, Cala d'Or, Portocolom and at the clifftop restaurants around Deià. Front-row tables must be booked almost everywhere, and many restaurants only open in the summer season.

In Mallorca, a sea view is a price factor. The same food regularly costs 20 to 30 per cent more with a view of the water – the surcharge is most worthwhile in the evening.

If you want to be sure of sitting by the water, book and explicitly ask for a front-row table when you do.

Some open all year Some seasonal only

Practical tips

  • When booking, explicitly mention „mesa con vistas al mar“ (table with a sea view).
  • Clifftop restaurants are exposed to the wind – take a jacket in the evening.
  • In winter, check whether they are open: many coastal terraces close for a break.
