Sunset restaurants in Mallorca

The sun sets in the west: Andratx, Deià, the Bay of Palma.

For the sunset, you should book for around an hour beforehand.

In short

Sunset restaurants in Mallorca

The best places for the sunset are restaurants on the west coast between Port d'Andratx and Deià as well as rooftops in Palma. Book for the hour before sunset; in high summer the sun sets between about 20:30 and 21:25.

Sunset tables are scarce. Book early and arrive around an hour before sunset.

In the east and north, the sun sets behind the land – there, the sunrise is the better subject.

Some open all year Some seasonal only

Practical tips

  • Book for an hour before sunset, not for the time of sunset itself.
  • Choose west-facing terraces: Andratx, Sant Elm, Deià, the Bay of Palma.
  • Beach clubs often charge a minimum spend for this.
