South-west (Palma, Portals, Andratx, Santa Ponça)
Peguera
Peguera is a seaside resort in south-west Mallorca with three consecutive sandy beaches, a largely traffic-calmed main street and a transfer time of only around 35 minutes from Palma airport.
Families Beach holidays Active holidays Without a hire car Budget
Peguera has three separate stretches of beach one after the other.
Peguera is built for function: the boulevard runs parallel to the sea, with hotels, restaurants and shops along it and the beaches below. As a result, the resort works extremely well without a car and has been established with German-speaking guests and families for decades. If you are looking for old-town charm, this is the wrong place – if you want short distances, it is the right one.

What makes Peguera special
Three beaches in a row
Platja Palmira, Torà and La Romana are within walking distance of each other and differ in width and how crowded they get.
Boulevard de Peguera
The traffic-calmed boulevard takes the place of an old town here: restaurants, cafés, shops and an evening stroll.
Open all year round
Unlike many resorts, Peguera has hotels and restaurants that stay open in winter.
A base for the south-west
Port d'Andratx, Sant Elm and Palma can be reached by bus in 20 to 45 minutes.

Getting around
Everything you need is on the boulevard and at the three beaches. For trips to the Tramuntana or natural coves, hiring a car for a day or two makes sense.
Bus connections: Frequent buses to Palma, Santa Ponça, Andratx and Port d'Andratx along the coast road.
