Can Picafort
Can Picafort is a budget-conscious family beach resort on the Bay of Alcúdia in the north of Mallorca with direct access to miles of gently shelving sandy beach.
Families Beach holidays Budget No hire car needed
The sand continues for kilometres towards Playa de Muro.
The resort grew out of a fishing settlement and is now a compact holiday town: hotels, apartments, promenade, beach. The sand merges seamlessly into the Platja de Muro and the Playa de Alcúdia, with dunes and the s'Albufera Nature Park behind. Can Picafort is rarely the most elegant base in the north, but often the most reasonably priced.
