Location: Son Fusteret, Palma de Mallorca.
What is Origen Fest?
Origen Fest is organised as a series: instead of a festival weekend, there are several individual events spread over the summer, each with its own line-up and its own ticket. If you want to attend more than one, you book them separately.
Musically, the focus is on techno, house and EDM. This means the series fills the gap between the broad-based Mallorca Live Festival and the club scene in Magaluf.
Venue: Son Fusteret
Son Fusteret is the exhibition and events ground in the north of Palma. It offers large open spaces, permanent infrastructure and – the decisive point for holidaymakers – a location within the city.
That means: you get there by city bus or taxi, with no drive back along country roads after the night. For travellers without a hire car, it is the most practical festival venue on the island.
Tickets and date status
Tickets are valid for one date each and are sold through the series' official channels. Prices vary considerably depending on the line-up.
We only give specific dates once they have been officially confirmed. If you are planning your trip around a date, only book flights and accommodation once it has been announced.
Tips for your visit
- Choose accommodation in Palma – short distances, night buses and taxis available.
- Bring ID; the minimum age is checked.
- In high summer it is warm even at night; plan for light clothing and water.
Who is it worth it for?
A good fit for:
- Techno and house fans
- Short-break travellers with a focus on music
- Travellers without a hire car
Less suited to:
- Families
- Anyone looking for a classic multi-day festival atmosphere
