Restaurants in Cala d'Or
The marina is the town’s restaurant strip – the coves are quieter.
Around the Cala d'Or marina, the restaurants are packed close together.
In short
Restaurants in Cala d'Or
The widest choice in Cala d'Or is at the Marina Cala d'Or yacht harbour, with Mediterranean cuisine and fish. The restaurants at Cala Gran and Cala Esmeralda are quieter. Main courses cost 18 to 28 euros.
Cala d'Or is geared towards holidaymakers: the menus are international, prices are higher than in the surrounding area, and the quality at the harbour is on average better than in the pedestrian zone.
For fish at local prices, the short trip to Portocolom or Cala Figuera is worthwhile.
Mostly seasonal
Practical tips
- Book in the evening at the harbour, especially in July and August.
- Cheaper for fish: Portocolom instead of the marina.
- Outside the season, a large proportion of the restaurants close.
