A tournament round with like-minded players, prize-giving included – in Mallorca you can do this as a holiday golfer too. Here you will find the tournaments that visitors with a German, Austrian or Swiss licence can enter, the packages with hotel and the professional events to watch.

Which golf tournaments in Mallorca can holidaymakers play in?
The easiest is the GEM Winter Slam: eight Thursday tournaments from 26 Nov 2026 to 11 Feb 2027 at Alcanada, Son Servera, Pula and Capdepera, open to golfers with a licence from a European federation (including the DGV, ÖGV and Swiss Golf) and current proof of handicap, entry fee €70 (Alcanada €85). As a package with hotel: the Lindner Mallorca Golf Trophy (19–22 Nov 2026, from €1,120 per person), the Sheraton Golf Tournament in Son Vida (29 Nov 2026, Stay & Play from €700 for two) and the Couples Championship in Pula (15–19 Nov 2026, €940 per couple).

GEM Winter Slam 2026/27: the dates
Individual Stableford over 18 holes, counting for handicap. Categories: Men A (handicap 0–17.9), Men B (18–36), Women. Entry fee for non-members includes trolley and snack; buggy costs extra (Alcanada €48). Entries from 1 Nov 2026 directly with the respective club, closing date 9 am the day before; if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you pay in full.

Four tournaments count towards the overall ranking, at least one on each course. Without current proof of handicap you play without being eligible for prizes. As of 29 Oct 2026, according to Alcanada’s tournament conditions.

Rolex Grand Final
The season finale of the HotelPlanner Tour (formerly the Challenge Tour) is being held from 29 October to 1 November 2026 for the sixth time at Alcanada, free admission with registration. On 28 Oct 2026 the tour announced that the final will stay in Mallorca from 2027 to 2030, but on new courses. The venue and date for 2027 have not yet been set.

How to enter as a visitor

Licence and handicap
Open club tournaments accept a licence from a European federation. Bring current proof of handicap – without it you often play without being eligible for prizes.

Federation tournaments
Tournaments of the Balearic federation (championships, circuits) usually require a Spanish RFEG licence and give preference to players with a Balearic licence. They are rarely open to holiday golfers.

Entry fee and extras
For non-members usually €70 to €85 for club series, €165 for the spring cup with food. Buggies cost extra and should be reserved in advance. Play often starts with a shotgun start at 9 or 9:30 am.

Can I take part in tournaments in Mallorca with a German golf licence?
At many club tournaments, yes. The GEM Winter Slam explicitly admits golfers with a licence from a European federation, provided you present current proof of handicap. Balearic federation tournaments, on the other hand, usually require a Spanish licence.
